ABC music notation software

abc2svg is a set of javascript files to edit, display, print and play music written in the ABC notation.
It may be used in web browsers as well as in command line with a javascript interpreter.
The runable scripts are distributed as a tarball and a ZIP archive.

txtmus is a rewrite of abc2svg for handling more text-based music notations.
The script source files can be downloaded from this source tarball. The runable scripts are in this tarball.

abcm2ps is a command line program which converts ABC to music sheet in PostScript or SVG format. It is an extension of Michael Methfessel's abc2ps which may handle many voices per staff.

The following documentation refers to txtmus, abc2svg and abcm2ps.

mu22abc is a small javascript program which converts MU2 files (extension .mu2) into ABC (such files may be found in SymbTr, the database of turkish Makams)

bww2abc is a small javascript program which converts BagPipe Reader files (extension .BWW) into ABC.

MicroEmacs (version 2.31 - 75Kb) is a very small (console) text editor with multibuffer/multiwindow capabilities that runs on many systems and has some syntax highlighting and UTF-8 support.

Aeolus is a synthesized pipe organ emulator from Fons Adriaensen. I made some enhancements for it gets the stops from a MIDI channel. So, I can still play on the console of my defunct Eminent DCS325 organ!
